Tango Fundamentals for beginner Tango dancers w/ Sascha Jacobsen and Andrea Fuchilieri.
Prepare yourself to enjoy a Milonga (Tango dance party) by becoming comfortable with the basic steps and movements in Argentine Tango, including the walk, cross, ocho, pivot, and turn. We will also discuss the rhythms, orchestras, and etiquette that go along with Tango dancing. We will focus on helping each dancer to find their own axis, improve balance and posture, and grow in confidence. No partner needed. All ages, all levels welcome.
We will meet in the Back Studio at Ashkenaz Community Music & Dance Center, every Monday from 6-7pm
Bring loose comfortable clothing and flexible shoes with suede or leather soles if you have them.
