Tango 101 and Intermediate Tango start Wednesday, May 21st! We are so happy to be hosting tango teachers Felipe Martinez and Ayano Yoneda at the Berkeley City Club. Come join us for their six-week beginner series (Tango 101) or six-week intermediate series!
Tango 101 is a fun, challenging class that focuses on the fundamental structures of tango and lead-follow communication. Intermediate tango focuses on improving tango technique through learning simple, elegant figures for social dancing.
These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.

8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango series
9:30-10:00 pm practica
The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions! Beginners may stay and watch the intermediate class. Intermediate students are welcome to arrive at 8:00 to practice together with the beginners.
